Why We Built This Site
The first challenge is routing. A Humphreys County Circuit or General Sessions matter goes to the Circuit and General Sessions Clerk; a Chancery file goes through the Clerk and Master; a municipal citation starts with the city court. The sheriff's general office can direct service or custody questions, but the county does not list a dedicated warrant-unit phone or a public active-warrant search. Its online criminal and traffic interface carries an incompleteness warning, and the jail booking page answers custody questions rather than warrant status.
Tennessee's TBI systems, including TIES and TCIC, are restricted to authorized criminal-justice use. They are not a public statewide warrant index. Public access instead depends on the existing court or agency record and any applicable restriction. This site organizes the local office routes, distinguishes city and county procedures, and explains when a records request may help. A search with no result is not proof that no warrant exists; confirm important status with the issuing court.
What You Will Find Here

- Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and what an "active" status actually means
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in Humphreys County
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Tennessee court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
The issuing court controls whether its process is recalled or changed. The Humphreys County Sheriff's Office can route service and custody questions, but it does not publish a dedicated public warrant-search line. Verify the record with the court named on the case.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
